NYC Marathon: The Branchburger Spirit Squad
A favorite activity amongst Branchburgers who live in the city is to gather and watch the New York City Marathon. The day typically consists of gathering for a boozy breakfasting, testing the group's sign-making skills, heading to Second Avenue to watch the runners, back for more "breakfast" and then over to Central Park to watch the runners at Mile 25. This year's race was even more fun given that Branchburger Gillian Kost and her dad were running the race right alongside such notables as Al Roker, Veronica Webb, The Chilean Miner and Otis Elevator's very-own Renata.
